ShopSavvy has to be one of the best application available on the T-Mobile G1 phone. What it does is takes your camera on your phone and it will scan a items bar code. Once it scans the bar code it will try and search online for the best prices of that item.
Once you scan a item it will show you what the prices are on the internet from the lowest price to the highest. Another thing is it also searches for local places around you for the item with the prices. Another option the application gives you is a review section if you want to know a little more about what people think of the item. There is also a wish list that you can add items to. Last there is a option to be alerted when a item reaches a certain price which all you do is enter the price you wish.
There is couple other applications on the Android Market that do the same thing and I have compared them with scanning about 5 different types of items to see which would give the best prices. Every time ShopSavvy brought me the lowest prices.

So today I decided to do a review on the Darth Vader Hasbro FX Lightsaber. This lightsaber is just gorgeous. This is the first FX Lightsaber I’ve ever owned and was very pleased when I received it in the mail from Amazon.com.
The lightsaber blade is a solid red. I know in the picture it comes out a little orange but trust me in person its red. The polycarbonate blade is set sturdy in the hilt and just like the Obi-Wan FX I did earlier it has all 64 LED’s in it.
Sounds are loud and clear. The great thing about it is, it does not have the same sounds as the Obi-Wan FX. It has its own specific sound which correlates with the sith sound from the movies. Everything from the power up, power down, and clash sounds are different. Only thing is the same is the motion sound of when ever you swing the lightsaber. Also this is only one clash sound with the Darth Vader unlike the Obi-Wan where there was 3 clash sounds.

This such a great application for your phone. What it does is locates your phone within a certain range. All you have to do is set up a pin number. Then someone else with a cell phone just needs to text your phone with Locate “Pin Number” and your phone will automatically text back it’s location in a certain range of 100 meters or so depending if the GPS is turned on in your phones settings. It’s not an exact location but it pretty cool if you’re trying to find out the location of someone or if you lost your phone and don’t remember where you last had it.

3 words, Automatic Nerf Gun.
This has got to be the best dart gun ever made by Nerf.
The Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 is a belt driven dart gun. The belt holds 25 micro darts. Comes with a tripod and a bucket that connects to the side of the gun which holds the belt.
The box says it will shot up to 3 darts a second on fresh batteries. It does fire pretty quickly but I wouldn’t say 3 darts a second more like 2 darts a second from just holding the trigger down.

So I’m not going to lie. I’m a die hard Star Wars Fan. Ever since i was like 10, I’ve been a fan. If your like me you probably have one these or at least thought about or damn well need to get one. These lightsabers are the closes thing you are going to get to a real one.
Here’s a little background on the FX lightsabers. The FX lightsaber was previously made by Master Replica. Well this past year there license with Lucas Art expired and Hasbro picked it up. So far Hasbro has just re-released the last set of lightsabers Master Replica came out with.
Now to the actual FX lightsaber

First time I heard T-Mobile was coming out with a new phone using Google Android, I was definitely excited about it. Then i saw the first picture of the phone and was turn off by the looks. I’m one of those people if it doesn’t look good I don’t want it. Time went by, kept reading updates on it and it started to grow on me. Was really hoping to get a Apple IPhone at the time, but said fuck it, the hype I think is what got me and the fact I did not want to switch to AT&T probably did it for me. Anyways pretty much the run down on how I got the G1.
First thoughts…..
This thing is pretty sweet, it’s one of those phones that reminded me of the Sidekick and IPhone put together with how the hinge is for the keyboard and touch screen. Really not going to go into too much detail about it because there are tons of reviews of this phone all over the web, so I’ll just give you my over all thoughts of the G1
